In every Battle of the Badges, there’s a fighter whose story goes beyond the ring.
This year, that fighter is Rodney Moore III.

Rodney is no stranger to the BOTB stage. After stepping away from the event since 2021, he’s making his highly anticipated return to the ring — not just for the glory, but for something deeply personal: to honor the legacy of his grandfather.

“This year’s theme is Operation Honor, and there’s no better way to honor my grandfather than stepping into that ring,” Rodney shared. “He served in the military, he was a firefighter, and he retired as a district chief. He was always the one walking me into the ring, the first face people would see — standing tall and proud behind me. This one’s for him.”

💔 His grandfather’s passing left a void, but it also lit a fire.
And that fire is what Rodney brings with him into every round of training — and every punch he’ll throw come fight night.

🔥 More Than Just a Battle

Rodney isn’t just a familiar name — he’s a professional fighter, having competed well beyond Battle of the Badges. But many fans don’t know that.
“I get asked all the time, ‘You box outside of BOTB?’” he laughs. “I’ve been in the amateur circuit for years, and now I’m pro.”

Whether it’s sparring in the gym, hitting the bag at home, or running every day to keep his edge, Rodney stays ready. “My dad always said, ‘Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready,’ and that stuck with me. I live by that.”

His preparation is intense. His motivation? Even deeper.

🎇 Prediction for Fight Night?

Rodney doesn’t mince words:

“Fireworks. Respect to my opponent, he’s skilled. But I’m ready. I’m doing this for charity, for the fans, and for my grandfather. It’s going to be a show.”

🛑 Why He Fights

Rodney fights to keep a promise.
He fights to carry forward a name that’s meant leadership, service, and strength for generations.
He fights because honor isn’t just earned — it’s passed down.

This year, Rodney Moore III is fighting for family, for legacy, and for every young fighter looking up from the crowd.

💥 Come witness Rodney Moore III and the rest of the BOTB warriors on fight night. This isn’t just about boxing — it’s about bravery, brotherhood, and honoring those who came before.
