Monroe, Louisiana is about to witness a showdown like no other — one where bravery, brotherhood, and boxing collide for a life-changing cause.
Battle of the Badges 2025 returns on August 9th at the Monroe Civic Center, and this year’s event promises to be bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever before.
This isn’t your typical fight night. It’s a non-profit, amateur boxing event where police officers and firefighters from Northeast Louisiana and across the country step into the ring, not for fame — but to raise funds for Med Camps of Louisiana.
💛 Fighting for the Kids
Med Camps of Louisiana is a true treasure in our state. Every summer, they host a series of one-week camps absolutely free of charge for over 5,500 children facing the challenges of physical and mental disabilities. These camps provide freedom, fun, and friendship to kids who often face daily obstacles.
Every ticket purchased, every glove laced up, every round fought helps fuel this powerful mission.
🥊 Heroes in the Ring
These aren’t just any fighters — they’re our neighbors, our first responders, our everyday heroes. From law enforcement officers to firefighters, and even military and EMS personnel, each fighter represents strength, service, and sacrifice. And on fight night, they’ll step into the spotlight to battle it out for the badge — and for the kids.
Expect a night full of high-intensity bouts, VIP experiences, Ring Girl showcases, live music, local vendors, and the kind of energy only this community can bring.
